Do you ever think about how short life is? You are a kid one day and then you turn around and you are 40! Wow! Where does the time go? I am aware that this life is temporary. We are just passing through. Sometimes we get so caught up in "things" and we lose our vision. In today's world it is scary when you see how people get so side tracked with material things and vanity and lusts of the flesh. Hollywood has gone crazy! You can turn on the television and see how shallow the world has become. They are more focused on their outward appearance than they are their inward. I wish that they could see that their bodies are temporary but their soul is forever. True beauty comes from inside. I want my heart to reflect love, and peace and a sweet attitude. We can get so caught up in fussing and fighting with one another and trying to defend our "good" name that once again we lose our vision. Sometimes the best defense you can have is to just humble yourself and let God take care of his business. This life is just a test, a test that I want to pass so therefore, I must study. Lately I have fallen in love with the greatest book ever written and I have learned that it really does help you if you follow it. It also brings peace and when you have peace that passes all understanding then you fall in love with the life he has given you. I am enjoying this stage of my life so much! I have had my eyes opened to things and see more clearly and I feel focused on what is the most important thing which is a relationship with the Lord. You see, God wouldn't put us here to test us if he didn't prepare us first. He is a good, merciful God and has a reward for us all if we just study :)
