So now that our kitchen is all finished, we have moved onto Leah & Emery Kate's play area. We extended it out into the hall area and gave them the hall closet for their clothes. We just had hardwood floors put throughout the whole house and we are loving it so now we are painting and changing things up a little.Above are some of the ideas I have. I really tried to get away from these colors......... I really did but I came back to them because I love them so much! Who knows maybe one of these days my taste may change. I tried to go with bold , bright colors but I came back to these and I am happy that I did. I want it to be vintage and pastels with lots of photos of the girls. The painter was here yesterday and is coming back tomorrow so I am excited but really can't start decorating it until next week. My mom, Linda, Cheyenne, Callee and I are taking a girl trip to Kansas for Leah's 5th birthday party and we are really looking forward to that! When I return I will be hitting up the antique stores to see what I can find for this play area. Pictures to come :)
