The girls playing in the hotel room. They stayed 2 nights with us. We colored, watched cartoons and told stories. Pap-Paw told Leah a story and then I heard her say "So Pap-Paw what is the moral of this story?" The kid is so stinkin smart :)

I think we are probably the happiest we have ever been! So excited about this chapter of our lives!
Who knew being a grandparent could be so intoxicating?!?!?!
So we took a mini vacation to Kansas to see the girls. We had a good time. The boys got their own hotel suite and we put a bunch of goodies in their kitchen for them and then we went to get the girls and let them stay with us in our suite. This was Emery Kate's first time away from her Mommy. She is such a mama's girl I guess because of being a breast fed baby and also with Amber staying home with them. She is attatched to her MAMA bigtime but she does love her Nannah too.
We went shopping and got the girls some cute little outfits and Leah got a Rapunzel doll and we also went to a really neat restaurant that had dinosaurs and aquariums. We had planned on taking them to the zoo but then it rained. Anyway so now we are home and ready to get back into the swing of things. Hope you enjoyed the photos. God Bless :)
