Adonai means LORD and was often used as a substitute for God's name "Yahweh" or "Jehovah" (these are interchangeable) in the Old Testament.

Hoping for me and my cousin to sing this at church soon. This is such a beautiful song and
I especially love the second verse where it says "one trembling heart and sould becomes a servant bold and courageous, you call across the mountains and the sea and I answer from the deepest part of me."
