David was a small, young man and he had a giant in his way, but God walked with him and was faithful to help bring this giant down. How did he do it? HE took 5 stones which represents the name of the JESUS and it only took one stone to bring that giant down. That is how much power is in the name of Jesus. Do you have a giant in your path? Then let David be your example.... be strong and brave in his might and let the name of Jesus work for you! Remember that this is the name name that causes the demons to tremble. If God be for you then WHO can be against you???
1Sa 17:40 ¶ And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling [was] in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
1Sa 17:41 And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield [went] before him.
1Sa 17:49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang [it], and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
