Good Notes

"He wants you to take that love and pour it in the souls of people who have gone astray. If you know someone who has gone astray, did you call him up and tell him that you love him and that you miss him? Did you call him up and tell him that his pastor misses him? Did you tell him that his Pastor weeps and cries in her prayer closet over him? I send people to see about someone whom I think needs help. I send word. But I am only one little person. I care about the details of human beings’ lives and look for small things, here and there, that I can do for them, yet not I, but Christ in me. In the Old Testament, they literally had to assume the responsibility for a natural lamb that had strayed."
~ Rev. B.R. Hicks

This is so good for all of the churches to remember. It is our duty to keep the sheep from going astray. We should care enough for one another to pick up the phone to inquire how each other are doing and send cards one to another, especially the Pastors. If the Pastors in the churches are not doing it then chances are, the saints aren't either. I feel sorry for Rev. Hicks when she says " I send people to see about someone whom I think needs help, I send word, but I am only one little person". We need to all be in unity together, looking out for one another. I'm ready to do my part.... how about you?

God bless you all!
