Blogs and Facebooking

I appreciate Pastor Holley preaching and teaching on proper face book etiquette. About a month ago he taught us not to use our face book as a platform to vent our hatred, feelings, etc. and I have seen people do it and it comes across as very childish but then again, I have been guilty of doing the same. I recently posted something that I regret and got convicted and took it off. Sometimes when we are wounded in such a deep way we want to unleash our hurts to ANYONE who will listen. This is where we are wrong, only God needs to know our hurts and really only God cares. I don't ever want my blog to be negative or discouraging, of course you will have those who take anything and everything you say the wrong way because maybe they don't like you then my question would be "Why would you even want to read my blog if you don't like me or get mad at everything I say or do. The Bible says if it offends you to cut it off. There are blogs that I won't go to because they offend me. I have also had to take people off of my face book page because we are too different and they say things just to "jab" you. We have to protect ourselves.

I believe exactly what Bro. Holley said ........ Face book is here to stay, blogs aren't going anywhere but like he said we just have to use them in the proper way and not let the enemy sweep in and stir things up.I always try to post scriptures and positive things on my facebook page and I kind of slowed it down because you start thinking that people probably think you are a freak for always talking about the Lord so I pulled back a little and then the other day I opened a private message and it was from this person that said Please don't stop posting your daily devotionals, I need them and I miss them, so I started back up. I choose as of now to follow Bro. Holleys advice and example. I choose to use it as a testimony to lift up the name of the Lord. So once again, my apologies for the times I have been weak. From now on I am taking it to Calvary. I so want to be like Jesus and I'm soooooo not but that is my goal.

Love each and every one of you!

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
