On December 31, 1987 at 1:04 a.m. Ronnie and I welcomed our first born baby into this world.
She weighed 7 lbs and 13 oz and was 20 in long. We loved her at first sight, I was 17 years old and Ronnie was 20 and we were clueless about what lay ahead. Here we are 23 years later and it has been such a beautiful journey. With this beautiful creature we have laughed and cried, watched as she took her first steps, said her first words, started kindergarten, got braces on her teeth, got them taken off, boyfriends, heartbreak, graduation, her beautiful wedding and the best part of all, watching her become a Mother. Amber you have brought so much joy into our lives and we are proud to be your parents! Happy Birthday!!!!
On a side note:
Growing up I was always amazed at how beautiful some people were. If I seen a beautiful girl out, I would note her beauty. I went to school with some beautiful girls in High School and always liked to guess who would be voted most beautiful. I guess you could say I was intrigued with beauty. Then I grew up and got married and had a daughter, and I am blown away by her beauty. I have never known a more beautiful girl! She is the kind of girl that walks in a room and heads turn, it is an exotic beauty, a beauty that stands out. I marvel sometimes that she is my daughter! I am a very proud Mom but I must say, she is even more beautiful on the inside and that means more than outer beauty ever could.
