Right On Time

It amazes me how Rev. Holley is always right on time! Last night during Bible study he kept saying everything that we so needed to hear. Sometimes we as parents go through so much with our teens and in the world we live in, it is so hard to find honest, and real Youth Leaders. I've heard horror stories of people who were put in a position to minister to the youth only to have the kids walk away more harmed than helped. It takes a lot of natural and spiritual maturity to hold a position like that. I know of a lot of churches that are even doing background checks on Sunday School teachers before they put them in positions. I say "Good Idea"! Our teens are in too delicate of a time in their lives to let just anyone come in and say and do whatever.

I was so glad that Rev. Holley took the opportunity to speak to the Youth last night and WOW how on time he was!!! He has no idea. All I could do was thank the Lord.

I had been tried lately in a certain area with one of our boys and I have been praying and felt so alone and questioned things and then when we went to Church with the boys, Rev. Holley spoke the magical words that my spirit needed to hear. I felt like I was sitting there with my mouth dropped open. I looked at my son and he looked at me and he knew that the Lord was speaking to him through our Pastor. I felt extremely blessed and it confirmed that God IS there and he does listen to the cries of his people and for that I am thankful. It reassured me that I am not raising these kids alone but with a God who cares about them.

We are serving a just and loving God who knows just what we need and when we need it. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't belong to a Church family. Everyone needs to belong to a Church and have Pastors and Youth Pastors that minister to you and look beyond your faults and see your needs. The Lord has blessed Life Tabernacle with awesome, Pastors and Youth Leaders. I encourage everyone, if you don't already belong to a church family, find one. Find one that is right for you, even if you have to visit 2 or 3 before finding the right one. The church is a house of worship, a place of Christian fellowship where the brotherhood can bear one another's burdens. The Bible says

Mat 18:20

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them It really is important. I can feel down and depressed but when I leave the service, I don't leave the way I came. God is good and faithful to supply our every need. :)
