Our Little Ballerina

I wanted to post these. Leah went to her ballet and tap class yesterday and Ronnie and I got to take her since her parents have been attending Bible study. We were so glad to get to take her. They usually don't like you to observe because it distracts the kids, but they made an exception for us when we told them that she was leaving for Washington on Monday. Amber and Joel are putting her back into classes when she gets there and then when she comes back, she will attend the same dance studio here. Her teacher was great with her. This was so exciting for me. She will also be doing piano around the age of 4 and gymnastics later. She is very smart for a 3 year old. She draws very detailed pictures and can already write her name , knows all of her colors, her birthday, her full name etc. I guess you can tell that we are extremely proud of her :)

Pap-Paw helping her get her tap shoes on.

Here you can see her excitement to be around other kids.

She is very social. She loves people. She always wants to give kids hugs when we are out.We taught her early that the human touch is important. People who don't like hugs scare me. I am glad that she is friendly and social and loving.

Here she is walking gently in her tap shoes.

She has her mamas smile. It can light up the dark.

This picture below is my very favorite! I love the way she is standing!

Here she is checking to make sure we are still there.

This was my favorite part because they did the chicken dance and she just kept laughing. She loved it :)

So after we got done with her lessons we had to go by The Finishing Touch to look for a precious moment to remember this special day. I have been collecting them since 1994 and I keep them in her room here at the house. When she is older we are getting her a curio cabinet for her room and she will be able to keep them at her house.
