Here it is! Finally done and I have 4 more waiting on me and then I will be caught up. I don't know how long it takes the other photographers. I have heard 6 mo. but I am not sure. For me it usually depends on how many weddings that I have and how many of them got the package with the digital albums in them. This couple was married on May 22ND and I am just now getting this album to them . Not too bad since I do everything alone. I answer the phone, respond to emails, set up appointments, do all of my wedding consultations (which can sometimes take up to 2 hours), take the pictures, edit the pictures, deliver the pictures, and on the side I answer a lot of photography questions that people have through emails. On top of this, I am a full time Mom and I like to be active in the Church, have a grand baby that requires lots of my time :)
On the side I love to host parties like the one I just hosted for my Grandmother's 80Th birthday.
Needless to say, I am one busy Lady but I love every minute of it. I guess I could hire someone on the side to do my editing but for me I just rather do it myself and know that I done it right. I just would have trouble letting someone else do my editing. I did however hire a second shooter to go with me to my weddings and it is the best thing I have done so far. We get a lot of really good pictures and more of them. Looking back, I don't know how I ever done it alone. I will never do it again by myself unless it is one of my smaller packages. But even though I stay swamped most if the time, I have to say, I love my job and even more, I love my life! I wouldn't change a thing. :)
