Love this song!

I am so in love with this song that is playing. When I heard it at Church on Sunday, all I could do was cry. I have listened to it over and over. God is so good to meet us wherever we are and so faithful. As I get older I realize that the most important thing in the world to me is my relationship with the Lord. Just knowing that he walks and talks with me and I don't have to be slammed with every one's opinions, because the Lord's opinion is the only one that matters. Recently I was going through some things and I lay in bed and prayed and it was like I could hear the Lord telling me to numb myself of everything and everybody around me and just focus on him. I was reminded of Peter in the Bible, when he was walking on the water how if he kept his eyes on the Lord then he could walk on the water but when the waves crashed around him he was tempted to look and he did and he fell. As long as we keep our eyes on the Lord then we can do whatever he has called us to do. Lately one of my favorite scriptures is: Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths. This is such a good scripture, because we don't understand anything, why God allows things to happen, we think it should have went this way or that way, but what do we know? We know nothing, we have to trust him and lean not on our own understanding, and he will direct our paths. I am excited to see where the Lord is leading us and what he has in store for me and my family. We serve an awesome God!
