I want to take this time to thank Dawn and Michael and Jessica and Kyle who have booked their 2010 weddings with me. I also want to announce that I will not be doing the Bridal Show this year. I have done it 5 years in a row and I have decided to take a break from it this year for different reasons. One being that I already have 8 weddings booked for next year and 2 because we are opening another business and my photography will be involved in that on Saturdays as well. I will still be taking calls for weddings and will do them if my schedule allows. Eight weddings may not sound like a lot to some but remember, I work on my own, I book the wedding consultations then I meet with the Bride then I do their engagements, bridals, wedding, edit the pics, upload the pics, design the album and deliver the album, all on my own, so I am limited to how many I can take on. I promise to take as many as I can since weddings are my passion. I hope to stay around 15 weddings a year. I photographed 35 last year and it was very overwhelming. I am always excited to meet the Brides and see their dreams as they unfold on their special day. This year a Bride is flying me to Ohio and next year I have a bride who is flying me to El Paso. I love this job because you never know where you are going to get to go and who you are going to meet. Thanks to all of my past, present and future Brides who have trusted me with their special day. I am looking forward to 2010 :)
