Kindness Matters!!!!!!!

Okay, I have to vent. Sorry, I usually try not to do that often on my blog but this is something that I am very passionate about! I heard some disturbing things today about something that I can not go in to but it saddened me deeply. See I believe in kindness and compassion and doing unto others the way you would have them do unto you. Some people don't truly live by that and I understand because some people are not taught that way, but then again there are the ones who do know better, the ones who sit in the pews who are suppose to be examples in the church, that is what is disturbing to me. People want their family and their children to be treated special and nicely but when it comes to someone else who may have an issue or may have several issues and may even get on your nerves to the point of not even being able to be around them, then it is a different story, but you see those are the people who need it the most! It is a true ministry when you can reach the ones that no one wants to be around or that no one likes, those are the people who need an extra hug or an extra pat on the back, especially if they are a child!!! I may not be the most perfect spiritual person in the world, but I have to say.... My mama taught me kindness and compassion! I don't know my Bible as well as I would like to know it, however I do know that is says to love one another, to be ye kind one to another, our pastors at our church have taught us that love is to draw near, not to push away or to scorn and they have been so faithful to lead by example. Someone told me recently that this one person has so many problems and that it is hard to be nice to them and that it would be easier if they just went to a different Church, my response to that is ... Yes they do need to go to a different church if the leaders and the people in that church are not capable of doing their job, then they need to go to a church where the church and the leaders would be anointed enough to minister! I posted these pictures below of Leah and a little girl that she met, these pictures remind me of those scriptures in Luke 18:16 where Jesus says to let the little children come for such is the kingdom of heaven" and also he says in Matthew 18:4 "whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven". That is the problem, no one wants to take time to humble themselves. It is easy to do it for the popular crowd or the likable ones, but not so easy for the outcasts. we as saints and especially as leaders in the church have to rise up and LOVE, for God is love.

Now scroll down and take a look at these pictures. Lord teach us to be like children

Leah didn't know this little girl, had never seen her before, but she just loved her and did't have to know anything about her. Unconditional love :)

look what a hug can do, her smile is priceless!

Out of all the things that we can give Leah, nothing is more important that giving her the gift of teaching her kindness and compassion! In the end that is what truly matters :)
