So Good!

I just heard a preacher say "Don't judge my break through until you've seen what I've been through". I thought that was so good. So many times people don't understand why we can be so passionate about God, why we dance, sing and worship the way we do but I have seen people get just as excited to see their grandkids, or when they are watching a football game, so I say......... Why can't we get excited about the love of God. He is so good and what a blessing and a wonderful experience it is to worship him! I count it a blessing to be a child of the king!

See why I love them? Ours finally got put in and I love it, I just can't wait to use it. The kitchen is coming along very slowly but I am learning patience. I learned recently that patience isn't just waiting but waiting with a good attitude so the Lord is really testing us on this one :) I am just thankful that I will have a brand new updated kitchen. I feel blessed. The bottom picture shows a skirt. Ours will have a skirt but I am being picky about which fabric to use. I will know it when I see it and so far I have not seen it :)

I just have to testify for a minute. I am amazed at God and the way he works!!!!! One and a half year ago Ronnie and I went through a life changing "event" We were faced with a decision to make and so we prayed "Lord have your will and if you want this change for us then blessed be your name" A lot of people didn't understand.... I mean WE DIDN"T UNDERSTAND lol I personally struggled with is for a while . The very night that God "moved" us I came home and wept and sat down to TBN and as I was crying and questioning the Lord, Michael English came on and started singing this song. I could not believe what I was hearing so I got up and got on the computer and pulled the lyrics up on youtube and was amazed at the words. The song is called "Beyond the open door" This song means more to me today than it did then. You see I had lots of questions.... questions that no one could answer so finally one day I told the Lord this......... God I don't have to have the answers anymore because I TRUST YOU and as soon as I surrendered God moved again! God is doing something great and I have learned that Beyond that open door there IS a FRESH annointing and I have heard the spirit telling me to go and go I did and I am so happy where he has brought us. Life Tabernacle has been a bridge to get us to the next step in God. Big things are happening and excitement is in there. I want to be in the middle of God's will. Blessed be his name! Love to all!

Thankful

We are about to have a house full of people. Mom, Dad, Granny, James, Linda, Amber, Joel, the girls, Chey Chey, Alyson, Justin, Alvin :) Lots of people are coming to see Emery Kate for the first time. I have the table full of cupcakes, snacks etc. and then tomorrow we are going to the Lake to have our diner. I am so grateful for the love of family and friends. This is going to be a great Thanksgiving and even a better new year. God has such great things in store for us and a lot of other great people. Loving this stage in my life. Every one have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving Day!!! God bless you all!

Welcome Emery Kate

We are proud to announce our latest addition, Emery Kate Murphy. She was born on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Overland Park, Kansas. She looks a lot like her Daddy and a little like Amber's hospital pictures and a little like Leah. Amber went to the hospital at 6 am and was induced and was in labor for only a couple of hours. We were shocked at how fast she came! Lots of tears, laughter and hugs as she arrived. Another one of the happiest days of my life. We already love her so much and so does Leah. She is beyond thrilled to have a baby sister. In the beginning Leah wanted to name her Molly but we weren't sold on the name and the only reason she wanted it was because of Toy Story (Andy's baby sister) so we searched and searched for the perfect name. Finally as I was looking through the baby book I came across Emory under the boys names and fell in love with it so I talked to Amber and she loved it too so we changed the way it was spelled and Emery it was! It is a German name and since Joel's grandmother is full blood German, it made it even more perfect. My Mother's maiden name is also German. Emery means "heart of the home". Amber wanted Kate and I have always loved Kate too but I really loved it even more when Kate Middleton came along. I think she is so beautiful and graceful, elegant, everything a lady should be so that is how the name came about. Cheyenne and I stayed a week with them and had a blast. Now I am back home and trying to catch up on my work. I have the best clients! They were all so happy about Emery Kate and told me to take my time and enjoy her so a BIG THANK YOU to you all!
